Distributed Intelligence

Distributed Reasoning and Determinism are essential to an autonomous computing framework. It empowers actors to autonomously make decisions and achieve predictable outcomes across a network where centralized, localized and decentralized decisions can be made. Paraflow’s planner (hierarchical goal trees) enable each actor, such as an AMR in manufacturing sequencing or kitting, to reason locally (“reroute if bin jammed”) using persistent state and ledger data, ensuring decisions align with operational objectives. PnCP’s semantic skill-matching coordinates these decisions network-wide (“request ‘place cover’ at 08:00”), guaranteeing deterministic execution without centralized control. This combined capability surpasses the limitations of OT’s centralized SCADA or IT’s probabilistic APIs, providing resilience and precision in dynamic environments. By blending reasoning and determinism, the Paranet ensures tasks like part sequencing are completed reliably, adapting seamlessly to disruptions while maintaining takt-time accuracy.
